Question 1: Are there any areas where you are using, storing or cleaning industrial machinery or equipment, and areas where residuals from using, storing or cleaning industrial machinery or equipment remain and are exposed to stormwater now or in the foreseeable future? To answer this question, you must consider what it means to use, store or clean either machinery or equipment and what constitutes exposure to stormwater. Precipitation means rain, snow, snowmelt and/or runoff. Exposure means that your materials and activities are not protected by a storm resistant shelter. If your industrial machinery, equipment or residuals from using, storing or cleaning that machinery or equipment are exposed to precipitation, answer "yes" to this question here and proceed to Lesson 2: Development of a stormwater pollution prevention plan. If your answer is "no" to question 1, then you can proceed to the second question. |
