Although your email starts with reference to shipment of Hazardous Waste and how to name them on shipping documents, reference to DOT regulations that follows refers to general requirements for shipment of all types of hazardous materials, products as well as wastes.

Some additional points specific to shipment of Hazardous waste (a main topic of your email) should have been listed.
For Example: Several Characteristics and listed hazardous wastes are not listed by name in the DOT hazardous material table.

A regulatory reference to alternative name for such materials can be helpful. (Hazardous waste solid NOS, liquid nos, etc)

Word "Waste" must be written in front of the shipping name found in the Hazardous material table. If material represents the waste of a specific hazardous material listed in the table.

All hazardous waste must carry the RQ designation. (I believe it is always 1 lb. I stand to be corrected)
