I am a screen printer. I used the Uniform Fire Code(State books store should have a copy for sale) in helping to determine what I could store (quantities, containers, building ratings etc..) . It's based on how much chemicals. hazard class and what type of fire separation system you have. We have also built printer carts with a fire rating of I believe 1hour. This allows us to store some of the flammables press side. You will need to check with the local fire marshal on what he will allow. If you can demonstrate the safety of what you want to do they may allow it. I would suggest having the marshal review your operation and they can determine what you need to do. They will ultimately be the ones who would do the inspection on your operation, so why not start out right. Gregory Johnson
