don't know if it's heavy, but it is regulated. in the EPA haz waste small business book, which is pretty good by the way, = it lists silver under the heading "heavy metals/inorganics" with a waste = code of D011. The lookup table is found at 40 CFR 261.24 Table 1 (the = book says 262.24 - there is no such reference - must be a typo). =20 The extract of the sample must have a concentration in excess of 5.0 mg/l = to be considered hazardous. Silver is a TCLP (toxicity) listed substance. the book I'm referring to is EPA530-K-95-001 - it's dated June 1996, but = they might have a newer version by now. happy new year everyone . . .
