I have recently read in several places (i.e. most recent edition of "In-house
Printer") that recycled content and coated papers may cause problems with some
of the new digital DTP equipment. It has also been mentioned that the new
presses which require conditioning of the paper prior to printing may evolve
chloroform gasses during the process? Has anyone else heard of or encountered
these issues? If you are familiar with the problem, is it of any significance
to human health or the environment?
Thanks for your input.
