The short answer is the Prop 65 is a California state law regarding toxics in the workplace. Under Propisition 65 a clear and reasonable warning is one whose message clearly communicates that the chemical in question causes cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The information must be transmitted using a method to make the warning message avaiable to the individual prior to the exposure. A specific Propisition 65 statement does not have to be incorporated onto a label as long as the label information conveys adequate warnings. Hope this helps. Marci Kinter SGIA International
