I thought I would forward this question and initial response to
Printech to see if there are any further suggestions.

I am not aware of any vegetable oil-based inks appropriate for screen
printing. Screen printers seeking environmentally friendly inks are
typically moving toward increased use of ultraviolet (UV) cured inks.

A couple of sources of further information:
1. Check out the Printech archives
Click on "Screen-specific Discussions" then "Inks" and you will see
some questions and answers re. UV ink for screenprinting.

2. Call the Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA),
the trade association for screen printers. Marci Kinter of SGIA
(703-359-1313) is an excellent source of information.
