Most small printers are not inspected very often by environmental and OSHA/worker safety departments. If there is a worker health problem at a printer, an employee would have to complain to trigger an inspection.

Many of theemployees are concerned with the situation but are unwilling to be whistle
blowers. Some are unaware of any health threat. I'm not sure how hard OSHA
or the EPA or whatever gov't agency is working to detect and correct such
