Pressroom noise... two issues come quickly to mind: the mechanical noise of
the folders, and the compressor noise required to run them. I'm not sure of
the remedy for the mechanical noise, simply because of the folder design, but
on the mechanical side, you might look at teflon bearings and folding
surfaces, use noise reduction baffles in the immediate area of the folder, or
as an interim, require best available ear muffs for operators.

On the pneumatic side, I've seen amazing reductions in pressroom noise come
from putting the compressors in a separate, shielded room.
