If you are referring to screenprinting on textiles, there are several
low VOC technologies available. Plasisol and waterbased ink systems
are both low VOC and are used extensively in the textile market.
Screenprinting as a print process, does not utilize soy based inks. It
was tried, but not successful, since there are other viable low VOC
alternatives. If you need any further information or sources of ink,
please feel free to contact me directly at marcik@sgia.org.
