I'd be curious whether the screen printer realizes that acetone has been
delisted as a VOC and is not on the HAPs list either. In some respects, this
makes it a good substance to consider switching TO. Toxicity is relatively
low, and the principal concerns are flamability and the objectionable odor.
Niether of those issues are insignificant, but both are manageable.
The answer would depend mostly on why acetone is being used, the company's
regulatory status and why they want to switch to something else.
