There are only two real options for your ink sludge and they are either
recycling or incineration. To recycle the ink, you need to work with the ink
supplier to see if they would be willing to take it back and reblend it into
another ink. Depending upon the color and volume of waste ink generated, they
colors may be recycled separately.
Lacking the ability to recycle the ink, the best is to incinerate it so that
it cannot contaminate the environment. The ink will have to be incinerated in
an approved incinerator with appropriate controls.
