Seems like most of the response to Greg have addressed cleaning, but not
the issue of removal for purposes of reuse and recycling. Any suggestions
on this? Seems like the main challenge is recovery in a way that minimizes
potential for contamination.
My experience in working with printers has been that, once removed from the
ink can, the ability to recover inks from the press for later reuse is
highly influenced by the type of printing being performed. I.e., finely
detailed, high-resolution, multi-color printing will be less tolerant of
such recovered ink than printing with less detail.
