There are no specific regulations in the US that will specify duct size or type. With the installation of this type of press, you need to size the unit so that employee ozone exposure is less than 0.1 ppm as measured over an 8-hour time weighted average.

In addition, the installation of this press may trigger the need to obtain an air pollution construction permit for it and if you have an existing operating permit, a modification to that permit. The need to obtain such permits is based on several factors including location, actual emissions, and potential emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds and Hazardous Air Pollutants. There are several counties in Washington State that have their own air permitting programs with corresponding permit thresholds.
