Mercury either in pure or compounded form is not intentionally added to any ink type that I am aware of - either fluid or paste.

The only potential source of Hg would likely be from raw material contamination. In fact, in 10 years of tracking test results from heavy metal analysis of raw materials and finished inks (using microwave acid digestion/ICAP methodology) here at Flint Ink we have had no instances where mercury contamination within an ink or raw material posed any significant problems.
