Is there a good resource out there on rotogravure that will give me a good overview of the processes used today? Or, is the industry still using the traditional cylinder preparation of cleaning, zincating, nickel, copper, and chrome plating processes? I have no experience with this print sector and need a good resource to learn more about current and/or old processes still in use today.

I did reference the PNEAC fact sheets on the subject but seem to remember reading somewhere that parts of the cylinder making process had been simplified and was no longer as problematic from the environmental standpoint. Any input would be appreciated. I would like to learn as much as I can about the processes, regulations, and P2 options for this sector.
