Iím a Printer in NY who runs a 40 inch planeta super varient 6/color with a perfector, with Grafix UV lamps interstation #1-2-3-4-and a double in 6. Lamps are 400 watts a piece. I use UV inks in my press and have no problems. In the beginning I had many. Printing UV takes a little getting used to. The ink does kind of look like powder coating.  If you have a high quality ink it should look fine. Even better with a UV coater, which I have on my press. One thing if you go to UV printing research it very well before getting in to it. The materials and equipment are very expensive.
