I am not sure how to respond to your request for information as Method 24 is for determining the VOC content of input materials such as ink, fountain solutions, cleaning solvents, etc. Method 25A is a stack test method that utilizes a Flame Ionization Detector. While the two methods measure VOC, they are used for different purposes.

There is a Method 24A for VOC content testing, but it is only for publication rotogravure inks and related coatings. There is a Method 25, that is a stack test method that uses an impinger catch to capture a sample of stack gas. For heatset operations, Method 25A is preferable over Method 25 as it provides consistent and reproducible results. Method 25 is not compatible with ink oils.
