Make sure the ink is hazardous - some ink is not hazardous, so that would make it a solid waste. If the state does not allow a one-time exceedance, the rules allow you to stagger the generation of the waste. So you could generate 220 pounds per month each month of total hazardous waste. SQGs can accumulate on site 6000 kg or 13,200 pounds for 180 days. Remember, it's what you generate in a month, not ship in a month. Of course, Illinois might have different rules, and if that is the case, much of my statement could be moot. Hope this helps. Dave Wintz
