Do polyethylene liners used with metal ink drums alter safety procedures? These liners are often used for housekeeping purposes. When storing solvent inks, the drums are grounded. However, the issue is that polyethylene liners are known to pick-up and hold a static charge. Does this increase safety concerns? Should additional safety precautions be taken? Any input is welcome!
