Dear Sherri: I'm not sure what the advantage or requirement is for "powderizing" inks = for land fill disposal, but if the "dried" inks can pass the various = toxic & flammability tests, then simply evaporating the volatile portion = of the inks might be the solution to your problem. A drum type solvent = recovery system may be useful for the task of "drying" the inks. These = systems normally are a closed system and have no emissions and collect = the volatile portion for HazWaste disposal. I know of one operation = that uses a pizza oven for this task. However, be careful, the treatment of wastes may be hazardous and = subject to other environmental regulations or requirements.
