Sherry, Dow Jones has been using CORBUS's NetMSDS system for its 17 printing plants for several years now (originally PC-based, now web-based). Sites have been very happy with this system and its ease of use. We have CORBUS doing most of the work for us. Initially, plants would send a copy of all their MSDSs or an inventory which CORBUS would check against their vast inventory of MSDSs from their clients. Any new MSDSs are sent to CORBUS along with any changes to departments where the MSDSs are located. Annual updates are done the same. You can sort the database in various ways, and by sorting by date you can send a list of MSDSs to CORBUS for those that should be checked for more recent versions. The system has an archive feature so that you maintain compliance with OSHA's 30-year rule. CORBUS's service has always been excellent. A PC-based version can do Tier II and Form R reports. You can find info about the system on their website: http://www.corbus.com/ Paul Jakubski Manager, Corporate Environmental & Safety Dow Jones
