Dear Printech: I forgot to ask this: Are reducers and intensifiers used in the fixer bath (or in plate making?), and if not which bath? and if they are mercury or cyanide- based do they generally make the bath a hazardous waste (irregaurdless of silver content)? I only found one manufacturer on PNEAC (Fuji Hunt) that makes a developer without hydroquinone, does anyone know of other manufacturers? What is the difference between plastic or photopolymer plates, presensitized plates? and aqueous plates? I did read thread on aqueous plates. Is there a document that explains these plate technologies in "plain language"? And lastly, is there a printing "lab" somewhere out there that has all these technologies in one place? I haven't gotten past the prepress area yet... thanks for any help, sherry davis Sherry J.
