For those of you answering my questions last week--thanks for all the input. I now have a question about reducers and intensifiers: Are these normally used in the photographic developing or in plate making processes? Do printers really use ammonium thiosulfate to extend fixer solution silver-carrying capacity, and thus bath life? And is acetic acid also used in the fixer bath as a matter of practice to control the pH to extend bath life? thanks in advance, any info appreciated sherry davis Sherry J.
