just a quick comment about disposing of ink cans. The suggestion of using an oven to dry residue might not be allowed in all areas so I'd suggest checking with the local/state folks before trying it. Also, I'm amazed recyclers are actually paying for scrap ink cans. My experience has been the amount of ink residue that has to be removed in the recycling process offsets any metal value recovered. I had a recycler take a load of crushed cans a few years ago but refused to take them again saying he lost money on the deal. What are others finding?
