One of the most effective tools is developing a good relationship with the
compliance person from the local regulatory agency. Interpretations and
policy guidance are the basis for any answers that are given. If a trusting
dialogue can be established, the likely hood of enforcement is minimized and
the printer may be on the forefront of compliance issues and trends.
Least helpful, from a regulatory prospective, is a mailing. People are
generally too busy to sit and read and absorb what is included.
