Inks shipped to a printer will undergo temperature fluctuations which will effect their viscosity and other physical and chemical properties.
If changes have occurred, a printed product may experience altered color, gloss, holdout, absorbency, scuff resistance, or ink coverage.
Retesting and adjusting the ink for correct viscosity will help. While printing, the target temperature should also be maintained in order to
better control the ink viscosity and printing properties. Better control leads to greater efficiency and less waste.
