Web-based Color Proofing |
4.7.99
A new tool is available for disseminating proofs. Digital images can be accessed over the
Web through a browser plug-in. Available formats include TIFF, JPG, PDF, CT/LW, and EPS.
Annotations can be added to the proof for revisions, either in an on-line conference or
asynchronously.
Digital transmission of images, corrections, and approval can speed the proofing process
while reducing material use. Pixel color values can be cross-referenced by number with the
customer's printed swatchbook, thus assuring accurate color reproduction.
