Article Summary: Managing Data to Manage Success
3.13.98

Good information management is a key to reducing waste and cost for your printer. This article provides a review of options for adopting or updating the use of computer technology in data mangement systems. As one printer notes, "many printers are switching form an operational mode to a strategic one; they're not just looking at how to get a job through the plant, but how to work more efficiently and profitably." A number of case studies illustrate what types of systems printers have put into place and what the impacts have been for their business.
